Terms, privacy and accessibility
Last updated: 21 October 2026. Questions: [email protected]
These terms apply to this website, to the emails it sends, and to everything published under the name Amma Tara on any platform ("the service"). By using the service you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use it.
Terms of use
1. About the service
Who we are. This service is operated by Tavas, Pri Megadim 9, Ma'ale Adumim, Israel (email: [email protected]), which is also the controller of your data. Amma Tara is not a real person: she is a fictional character whose images, voice and texts are made with AI software by the operator, and she is not connected with any religious figure or organisation.
Amma Tara is a character, brought to life with modern technology to carry an old tradition into today's world. Her talks, images, voice and readings are created by the team behind this project using advanced software tools, including artificial intelligence, and the charts are calculated with precise astronomical data. She is designed to make the sky of the Indian tradition clear, personal and easy to reach for anyone, anywhere. Nothing here comes from a religious figure or a licensed professional of any kind, or is said on behalf of any temple, order or tradition.
2. What the service is for
The service offers astrological content in the Indian (Vedic) tradition for reflection, interest and entertainment. Astrology is a matter of belief and is not a science. Nothing in the service is a statement of fact about you or about the future.
3. Not advice
Nothing in the service is medical, psychological, legal, financial, relationship or any other professional advice, and nothing in it is a prediction, a diagnosis or a promise of any outcome. Do not make decisions about your health, money, work, family or safety on the basis of it. For those matters, speak to a qualified professional. If you are in distress, please talk to someone you trust or to a helpline in your country; if you are in danger, call your local emergency number.
4. How the charts are made
Signs, birth stars and life periods are calculated from the birth details you enter, using published astronomical data and the Lahiri sidereal system. We work to make the calculations correct and we test them, but they depend on the details you give, on conventions that differ between astrologers, and on software that can contain errors. The written readings are general descriptions prepared with software: the weekly letters are written one for each of the 27 birth stars, and everyone with the same birth star receives the same letter, and the part of each letter about the moon's stays is shared by the three stars that count alike. They are not written about you personally. Everything is provided "as is", without any warranty of accuracy, completeness or fitness for a purpose.
5. Who may use it
The service is for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to submit your details or to buy anything. Enter only your own birth details, or those of a person who has agreed to it.
6. Emails
When you ask for a chart we send it to the address you give. If you buy the Inner Circle, we send the weekly letters to the address you paid with, and two short notes when your time is about to end (one a week before, one on the day), each saying how to go on if you wish. Nothing more is sent after it ends. We send other messages, such as news of new readings or offers, only if you chose "yes" when we asked whether we may write to you again. Every such message tells you how to stop them, and you can stop them at any time by replying with the word "stop" or "remove", or with the "Stop getting these emails" link at the bottom of every email. If you said yes, the chart is followed by three short letters over about ten days: about your birth star and its book, about the Inner Circle, and about the book You Are Not Late. If you buy the birth-star book, we email you a link to it. If you buy a personal reading, we email it to the address you paid with, and an automatic note if you write back about it.
7. Paid products
The chart described on this page is free. If paid products are offered, their price, what they include and the refund terms will be shown clearly before you pay, and those terms will apply together with these. For the Inner Circle: if you write to [email protected] within 14 days of paying, the payment is returned in full, no reason needed. After 14 days there is no refund for the time that is left. For the birth-star book (a PDF about your birth star): if you write within 14 days of paying, the payment is returned in full, no reason needed. For the personal reading (a PDF made by AI software from the birth details you give, for adults, for reflection, with no predictions): if you reply to its email with the word refund within 14 days of paying, the payment is returned in full, no reason needed; you can correct a wrong birth detail once through the link in that email; and if the reading cannot be made, the payment is returned by itself. Any right to cancel that the law of your country gives you is not reduced by these terms.
8. Our content
The texts, images, videos, audio, design and software of the service belong to us or are used by us under licence. You may use them for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, republish, sell or use them to train software, and you may not collect data from the service by automated means, without our written permission.
9. Fair use of the service
Do not misuse the service: do not send automated or false requests, do not submit other people's details without their agreement, and do not try to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to it. We may refuse or remove any request and may block misuse.
10. Limits of our responsibility
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not responsible for any loss or harm arising from your use of the service or from any decision you make because of it, including indirect or consequential loss. Where our responsibility cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or 50 US dollars if you paid nothing. Nothing in these terms limits any right that the law does not allow to be limited.
11. Other services we rely on
The service uses outside providers for hosting, storage and email, and is published on platforms such as Instagram and YouTube. Those providers and platforms have their own terms, and we are not responsible for them or for their availability.
12. Changes
We may change the service or these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If you keep using the service after a change, the new terms apply.
13. If you break these terms
If your misuse of the service, or your breach of these terms, causes a claim or a loss against us or the providers we rely on, you agree to cover the reasonable cost of it. We may stop serving anyone who breaks these terms, and we may delete their details.
14. Law and disputes
If something goes wrong, write to us first and we will try to put it right. These terms are governed by the law of Israel, where the operator of the service is established, and the courts of that place have jurisdiction, unless the consumer law of your own country gives you the right to bring a claim where you live. That right is not affected.
15. General
These terms, with the privacy policy below and any terms shown when you buy something, are the whole agreement between you and us about the service. If a court finds part of them invalid, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a term at some point, we may still enforce it later. We may transfer the service and these terms to another operator; you may not transfer your rights under them. Section headings are for convenience only.

What we collect
What you type into the form and send: your email address, your birth date, your birth time if you give it, and the place (time zone) you choose, together with the date of your request and whether you asked for news. The chart itself is worked out from those details. If you buy a paid product we also hold what is listed under "Who we share it with" below, and your address goes on a "do not write" list if you ask us to stop.
Checking your sun sign at the top of the page happens inside your own browser. Nothing is sent to us until you press the button that sends your chart.
What we do not collect
This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising pixels or other trackers. The fonts and scripts are served from this site itself. We do not buy data about you from anyone.
Why we use it
- To make your chart and email it to you, because you asked for it.
- To send you news of new readings or offers, only if you answered "yes" when we asked whether we may write to you again, and only until you ask us to stop.
- If you buy the Inner Circle: to send you the weekly letter for your birth star, with its hours given by your own clock, and the two notes described in the terms.
- If you buy a personal reading: to make it from the name, birth date, time and place and the subject you give, and to email it to you. Those details are not put in the payment link, and they are deleted from our reading service after 60 days (after 7 days if you do not pay).
- To answer you and to find requests to stop: replies to our emails are kept in a log (the first 500 characters) and read by software that looks for requests such as "stop", "remove", "unsubscribe" or "not interested".
- To keep a record of requests so that we can prevent misuse and answer questions about them.
Where it is kept and who sees it
Your details are stored in, and emails are sent through, Google services operated by Google LLC, and the website is served by a hosting provider. For a personal reading, your details are also processed by Railway (which runs our reading service) and Anthropic (whose AI writes the words of the reading). These providers process the data on our behalf and may do so in the United States or other countries outside your own. We do not sell or rent your details, and we do not share them with anyone else, unless the law requires it. If you buy a paid product, the payment is taken by Dodo Payments, who act as the seller of record and hold your payment details under their own privacy policy; we receive from them your name, your email address, what you bought and a payment reference, and we keep those with your birth star and your time zone so that the letters reach you. The time zone is read from your browser when you press the button to pay, and is used only to give the hours in your letters by your own clock.
How long we keep it
Until you ask us to delete it, and in any case no longer than 24 months after your last request, message or paid period. Two things are kept longer: records of payments, for as long as tax and accounting law requires, and the "do not write" list, so that we never write to an address that asked us to stop.
Your choices
You can ask at any time to see the details we hold about you, to correct them, to delete them, or to stop receiving emails. Write to [email protected] from the address concerned, or reply to any of our emails with the word "stop" or "remove". We will act on it within 10 business days. If you live in a country that gives you further rights over your data, including the right to complain to a data protection authority, those rights apply.
Children
The service is not meant for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their details. If you believe a child has sent us theirs, write to us and we will delete them.
Security
We keep your details in accounts protected by passwords and two-step sign-in and limit who can reach them. No way of storing or sending data is perfectly secure, and we cannot promise that it is.
